Just a quick note: All the files for the desktops below are zipped. If you don't already have an 'un-zipping' program, you can get Winzip for free.
Desktop 1 - Flans Menu with Date

The only disadvantage to this desktop is that the date doesn't update unless you manually refresh your desktop (It's easy to do. Just right-click on the desktop and select 'Refresh' or click the desktop and hit 'F5').

Desktop 2 - Full Flans Sidebar

This desktop actually includes 4 sidebars, not just the one pictured above. Every time you refresh your desktop a new image is chosen at random. (Your desktop refreshes at boot time, when you click on the desktop and hit 'F5,' or when you right-click on the desktop and choose 'Refresh.') Fun, eh? :) Here are the 4 sidebars it will choose between:
